This Japanese classic is made by steaming rather than grinding the tea leaves. Our fine Shizuoka province Sencha reveals a light, grassy flavour with a beautiful deep emerald colour.
Let me share my secret to the perfect cup of tea… Add 1 teaspoon of leaf per 200ml water to the filter of your favourite pot. Pour in water heated to 75o. Infuse for 2-3 minute and inhale the aromas as the leaves unfurl, you slow down and anticipate that first satisfying sip.
